Project Briefing
Project 1 - 20% - Individual
Deadline: Week 06
1. Physical Collage Design (10%)
- Create a themed collage with layers of images, applying design principles and composition fundamentals.
2. Digital Imaging (10%)
- Compost different images into one final output by using Adobe Photoshop. (2x exercise)
Reasons that we need to learn Photoshop
- User-friendly with powerful, unique tools for creativity.
- Preferred by professionals (graphic designers, web designers).
- Essential for graphic design, digital photography, and UX roles.
- Valuable for hands-on marketing roles (content creation, visual branding)

Before Photoshop: Photograph Manipulation
The invention of Photoshop:
Digital Imaging - converts the printed text, artwork, and photographs into digital images using a digital scanner or another imaging device.

Description:
The design has abstract lines, shapes, and text that feel energetic and chaotic while the black and white tones create a moody atmosphere, with a lot of overlapping elements. I like how all the different complicated elements combined together in one picture but doesn’t look messy at the same time.

This poster first drew my eyes with a collage of different face parts mixed together. The bright yellow text contrasts with the black and white faces, creating a bold look. I enjoy the contrast and unexpected mix of faces.
